The New Edition of the ASBA’s Track Book is On the Way – Get a Great Discount While It Lasts

We interrupt our regular discussions of sports facilities, industry matters and everything else to bring you some exciting news about a member benefit. This is your membership dues at work, and it’s a great illustration of the work of ASBA’s Track Division.

As ASBA gets closer to the publication of the ninth edition of Running Tracks: A Construction and Maintenance Manual, it’s time for members to be able to realize the benefits of, well, being a member. According to Track Division President Troy Rudolph, The new edition of the book, which is scheduled for this summer, will include the following:

  • New and updated drawings throughout the book
  • Expanded section on the use of post-tensioned concrete
  • Refined measurements and tables

Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? It’s about to get better. Right now, the ASBA Board of Directors is offering each member company a 40% discount on the newly-published book.  The book is a $44.95 value so each book costs only $27.00.

The offer is good on any quantity of books ordered, provided the order is placed no later than June 1, 2016.

In order to receive the discount, you will need to complete this form, and return it to ASBA headquarters with appropriate payment. Shipping and handling charges will apply as well; these can be found on the form.

This offer is not valid to ASBA non-members, nor is it exchangeable with any other publication sold.

Remember that this manual is considered the textbook for the ASBA’s Certified Track Builder (CTB) program, so certified builders – and those who are planning to take the test – should take advantage of this offer.

Once the book hits the bookshelf, this special pre-order discount won’t be available any longer, so take advantage of the savings while they last!
