Construction, Design Programming, Trade Show, Meetings on Agenda
ASBA announced that its annual Technical Meeting will be held December 2-6, 2016, in Amelia Island, Florida. Industry members who have not yet marked their calendars are encouraged to do so.
The Technical Meeting offers outstanding technical programming as well as a trade show of products and services; this show, the site of receptions, meals and other gatherings, is easily one of the most popular aspects of the Technical Meeting. The agenda also features of ASBA’s committees and task forces, and chances to become involved with association projects, publications and more. Additional activities, such as the golf and tennis tournaments, provide further opportunities to spend time with industry colleagues.
The meeting will include the opportunity for individuals to take the ASBA’s certification exams to become a Certified Tennis Court Builder, Certified Track Builder or Certified Field Builder. The winners of the association’s annual Awards Program will also be announced at the Technical Meeting.
The site of the meeting is the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. The Omni is a full-service hotel on 1,350 acres at the tip of a barrier island just off the Northeast Florida coast. The resort features a fully-equipped conference center, oceanfront accommodations, pools, championship golf, a full-service spa and multiple dining options.
